Ruth Weeks, aka Winnie Watson, is an award-winning author with five published books. She is also an accomplished public speaker, writing contest judge, and instructor. Ruth served on the Board of Directors for Ozark Writers League in Branson, Mo. .

She attributes her passion for storytelling to her mother, Winnie Watson. Ruth majored in Drama at the University of Arkansas which also contributed to her rich storytelling abilities. She writes under her mother’s name to honor her memory.

Ruth lives in Springdale, Arkansas with her two cats, Fred and Coco, both serve as her muse.
